Evergreen Reports should be used primarily for Acquisitions and Patron based reports. Most other data, including that related to collection management and circulation, can be accessed from the NOBLE Dashboard or by running a Listmaker report.
Evergreen Reports may be accessed from the portal page or from the Administration menu. Note: there are specific permissions required to use Evergreen Reports.

Once you have accessed Evergreen Reports, you will see the following screen:

The top section — My Folders — contains folders associated with your user account. Folders are places to store Templates, Reports and Output. These folders may be shared with others users if you choose to do so.
Templates, Reports, and Output
- Templates — Templates are forms that you can use to create reports. Templates generally some fixed elements and some variable ones — they are the order form you fill out for a particular type of report.
- Reports — Reports are what the system actually runs based on how you filled in a template. Reports can be single instances (run one time) or recurring (daily, every ten days, monthly, etc.)
- Output — The output is the results for a report. Output can be presented in a graph or tabular display in the staff client, or as a CSV file that can be downloaded and opened in Excel or other programs.
The basic report workflow is to:
- Select the appropriate template
- Fill out the template
- Submit the report
- View the output
